The design brief was a freestyle boat that didn't limit the boater from executing the latest moves, specifically those that involve air, and a freeze frame video replay to comprehend.
All freestyle moves are achievable. The short length makes rotations very fast which takes a little getting used to, but puts loops within grasp of the recreational paddler.
Down river, very responsive with enough volume and rocker to stay on top of it all.

The Freestyler is fast and loose on the wave, and with extra length than the Blitz, a little less bouncy. The hull is based on the slippery Blitz hull, a flat surfing plane with defined concave chines running down the outside length. Relatively hard rails off the concaved chines also help release greenwater on the wave neatly mid spin, leading to the super fast and loose performance. Down river, the boat is a pleasure to paddle - responsive and faster than smaller playboats. Its also a breeze to do tricks in for the intermediate paddler, bring on ends, rock splats, bow splats, squirts, and the mysteries...

Introduced in 2001 and designed for classic down river kayaking, it's Bliss-Stick's first foray away from freestyle, offering a fuller range of boats for a wider spectrum of water. Elements of the playboating hull have been retained to provide a balanced experience between playing and river running. Wider cockpit and ample foot room mean the Lifestyler is very comfortable. Plenty of room for lunch, rescue gear, pelican boxes, overnight kit and big feet. A river runner that's fun in big and challenging water, but also a boat for those heading from the learning grounds into faster and more technical water. Elements of the playboating hull have been retained to provide a balanced experience between playing and river running. It's fast, and with a relatively high volume it holds a line and stays high. The Lifestyler is a boat anyone can paddle and enjoy, but for experienced paddlers, creeks can still be paddled and exploited in a freestyle sense, without compromising reasonable levels of safety.
